What I currently have--

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz (1333MHz Front Side Bus) (4MB Cache)
Motherboard: nVidia 650i Core 2 Quad (By: eVGA) (nForce 650i Ultra)
Memory: 2GB DDR2 Corsair at 667MHz (Dual Channel)

your motherboard is your first limiting factor, you can't take advantage of the newer cards with that mobo, you can maybe add a couple of gigs of ram but I'm not sure how that would help.

instead of changing mobo, cpu, ram and etc, I think its time for a new pc or start saving for one.

if budget is an issue and this system is doing fine for you, then keep what you got till its not enough for you anymore.

you missed out on the awesome deals they had like a 2 months ago. My advice would be to wait a little longer and see if they have another great prebuild deal.Question

no point on upgrading that, you'll eventually end up rebuilding your entire pc and do it slowly, by the time you're finished you'll be behind in technology again and start to regret.
keep using that rig, till you save up around 1.8k-2.3k
then rebuy a new pc, mean while with your old one turn it into something else
I'm turning my 2nd pc atm into a HTPC for my tv's :D

just my suggestion,

Btw what was your upgrading cost budget ?
