Topic: Help on PC build Posted: 30 Jul 2010 at 11:42pm |
Hello I just got back from basic training and am putting my signing bonus to good use in buying a new gaming machine. I'm willing to put about $1300 into it and help help on builds would be so appreciated. I am big into fps games such as BFBC2 and CoD MW2. But I also am looking to get FF XIV when it launches as well as Star Craft 2. So a build that would just be able to run those smoothly and with high settings is really what im looking for out of my DS PC.

lol. very nice dusty, but here's a rough comparision of investments by annual yield.
Standard CD interest rate: 4ish% Stock market interest rate(if you're good)10ish% Real-estate(prereccession) 5ish% New computer... -50% yeah, just pulled those off my head randomly. not 100% accurate ANYWAY!... dusty's build is good. lol. I would actually upgrade to the noctua dual 120mm fans for cooling. far better than that cooler. Edited by Ch3ssplay3r - 31 Jul 2010 at 11:54pm |
