So, basically I bought a computer from Digital Storm around April or May of this year and everything was fine until about mid-May, it started shutting off on it's own out of nowhere. Thinking this was a power supply issue, I decided to head over to Best Buy and purchase a very good power supply. Didn't work. I let it be and somehow it stopped doing it a lot for a long time but once I reset my PC due to thinking I was ratted, it started up again. Once I load up a Java application, my CPU usage skyrockets which I guess is normal due to the fact that Java is a resource hog, but what gets me is that it completely shuts down my computer and I don't know if it's a hardware issue or what. If you could please let me know what you think that'd be great!

Also, I've already checked the temperature and everything, it's not hot whatsoever.

Always try and isolate before you purchase parts.

Well at least you got a back up psu for testing, that is always good.

When you say "reset my pc" what do you mean by that?

If the pc is OCed i would remove the oc and see if it crashes with Java.

If it still crashes without oc, then first test The ram, then other stuff.

This can be manythings.

Also please post build details.
