Hello everyone. I'm looking for a gaming build and I don't know much when it comes to parts. Any help I would appreciate.
I game now at 1920 1200 on a 24 inch monitor. I would like to stay around 3k give or take a couple hundred. In the future I would like to go at a higher resolution and maybe run duel monitors. So I guess I would like SLI?? Also I'm paranoid when it comes to keeping the pc cool so I would like a good air flow build. Liquid? Same with the PS. 1050? I don't know anything about MB's. I also don't need a monitor, keyboard or a good sound card. So would anyone help me by building me a gaming pc around 3k? Thank you very much!!! I hope I gave you enough info to go on. |

if you going to increase resolution in the future and add another monitor, might want to step up the sli GTX570's to the 2.5gb version.. also swich the OS to Windows Professional in that build. Everything else looks good to me in that build.

Thanks guys for the responses! Anyone else want to chime in? 3k is a lot of money so I want to make sure I get my pc right.
BTW, should I go liquid for cooling or isn't it necessary? Edited by frnk55 - 29 Jan 2012 at 11:42am |

unless you plan on getting liquid cooling stage 4 or higher, stick to air cooling. And for that CPU, air cooling will be just fine.. dont need liquid cooling. That A70 cooler will be just fine but if you did want to step up the air cooling, go with the Noctua D14..that cooler is a beast. |

Hi frnk55,
You will definitely need SLI and for another $100 you can move up to the 570 2.5Gb. Make sure you order the free T-Shirt. I wear mine every time I go into Best Buy.
Ask DS to add the second OEM 200mm fan to the top of the case. Ask them not to exceed a Vcore of 1.4 volts. Frank |

I have nothing to add, whatever I would say everybody covered
so I will just repeat and provide link: Ask DS specifically for this fan to be added to the top, so you endup with 4 x 200mm fans: haf 200mm non led fan Ask for vcore lower then 1.4 for your oc. |
