You should upgrade to the nVidia 680i core 2 quad (By: eVGA) A1Revision MoBo as you will get a better overclock and it includes 2 USB headers on the MoBo and 6 USB ports on the back.
Also, if you are looking for a higher over clock on the CPU you might want to go with the 1066 Dominator RAM.
Making these 2 changes will get you to $4027. I you change the memory to 2 Gig of 1066 Dominator it will then come in at $3777.

you might as well go dual 8800GT or you could get 1 8800GT 512MB and stick with that for awhile. Something better usually comes along and you might want to replace it and go dual (something else). I don't believe SLI is really important right now. A lot of people are just going with 1 graphics card. You could probably get just one 8800GTX and you will be perfectly fine. Is there any reason why you need "Vista Ultimate"? You could just stick with Windows Premium 64bit, it will be cheaper to do that.
I guess this is my opinion, but you really don't need to liquid cool your GPU's unless you are planing to do something with them? From what I heard when talking to Dave at DSO, liquid cooling your GPU's makes it that much more of a pain in the butt when you need to change GPU's. If I were you, I would just stick with liquid cooling for the CPU ONLY.
that will give you extra money to maybe add other things that could improve the overall performance on your computer. Edited by Bigdog - 15 Nov 2007 at 2:59pm |

This might work? Not sure, but you may like it, if you want liquid chilled CPU only.
$3,720.00
Case: Digital Storm Twister ULTRA (Black Anodized Aluminum Finish)
Power Supply: 750W SilverStone Olympia (Dual SLI Compatible) (Model: OP750) (Silent) Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz (1066MHz FSB) (8MB Cache) Motherboard: nVidia 680i Core 2 Quad (By: eVGA) (nForce 680i SLI) (A1 Revision) Memory: 4GB DDR2 Corsair at 1066MHz Dominator (Dual Channel) (Extreme-Performance) Floppy / Card: Digital Media Card Reader (Black) Hard Drive 1: 150GB Western Digital Raptor (10K RPM) (16MB Cache) (SATA) (Extreme Speed) Hard Drive 2: 150GB Western Digital Raptor (10K RPM) (16MB Cache) (SATA) (Extreme Speed) Raid Option: Setup hard drive 1 and 2 in a Raid 0 Stripe (Read and Write Performance Boost) Hard Drive 3: 250GB Western Digital (16MB Cache) (7200 RPM) (SATA) Optical Drive 1: DVD-ROM/CD-ROM (DVD Reader 16x / CD Reader 40x) Optical Drive 2: DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 20x / CD-Writer 48x) Network Card: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections) Video Card: nVidia GeForce 8800GTX 768MB (ACS3 Overclocked Edition) (By: eVGA) TV Tuner: - No Thanks Sound Card: Motherboard Multi-Channel High Definition Audio (7.1 Channel) Physics Card: - No Thanks Cooling: Liquid Chilled CPU Only (Phantom Black Liquid) Case Lighting: Blizzard Internal Lighting (Blue Edition) (Cold Cathode Tubes) Round Cables: Enhanced Interior Air Flow (Optical Drive & Floppy Cables (Black Edition) User Manual: Personalized Platinum Digital Storm Binder (Includes Paperwork/Benchmarks/CDs/Manuals) Overclock Processor: Yes, Overclock the processor as much as possible with complete stability Overclock Video Card: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my video card(s) Overclock Memory: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my memory Tweak Windows: - No Thanks, Please do not tweak the services on the operating system Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (64-Bit Edition) (For Enthusiasts) Restore Kit: Digital Storm Specialized Recovery System (DVD Image Based) Protection: - No Thanks Office: - No Thanks Benchmarking: - No Thanks Pre-Install Game: - No Thanks LCD Display: - No Thanks Surge Shield: - No Thanks Speakers: - No Thanks Keyboard: Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse (High-Speed Gaming Grade) Warranty: 3 Year Platinum Care Extended Parts & Labor Warranty Support: Lifetime Toll-Free Platinum Care Technical Support You can definitly go with a different case, like the EXTREME case. I would highly suggest them. If you want to upgrade in the future these cases are big enough if you are doing some BIG upgrades. the Ultra case and EXTREME cases are bigger so I guess the cooling is a lot better in them as well.
If you don't need a keyboard or mouse then take those off and you will save some more cash. Edited by Bigdog - 15 Nov 2007 at 3:08pm |

alright thanks for the input. I wanted water cooling for the GPU cause i was going to overclock it, and i didn't want to hear the fans on high and it seemed to me it would keep it cooler. I am running vista ultimate cause i plan on keeping this machine for awhile and sooner or later going to have to upgrade

For what it's worth. I had many questions prior to placing my order also. So I called DS and Dave and I went right down the list of components I thought I wanted, and he explained/answered/confirmed or made recommdations for each question I had. The final product I ordered was modified a bit, and was actually a little less cost than what i had originally planned. I'd call DS, cuz I'm convinced they'll not steed you wrong.
I was totally impressed!
