Hey guys, I've been out of the loop when it comes to any hardware so I'm looking for some help. I'm mainly looking for a gaming machine - mostly of the fps genre, I do occasionaly play WoW (trying to quit I promise!).
I configured the following system but like I said, It's been awhile so any help would be greatly appreciated. I will be using a 28" display.

Thanks for the quick response, I appreciate it.
I didn't see an option for dual 275's, maybe I missed it? |

Yeah, I am sure you simply missed it. Like e.fruman said go with SLI 275's rather then the 285s.
However what size moniter are you using? you may not need SLI 275s at all.

He said a 28" which would need dual or maybe tri 275's if he wants max settings. Other than that its a good system. I would have picked the HAF 932 ut thats just personal preferance.

Oh sorry, didn't read that. lol. Then yeah it looks great.
Use a little of the cash you saved from the GPU's to get the optional RAM fan, It's only $35 more, and extra cooling is always a good thing.
The HAF932 has very smiler performance to the 950si and is cheaper.
You can go with the 950si, it too is a very good case. however the HAF932 is the best bang for your buck case on DSO.

what resolution is that 28" running? 1900 x 1200 or 2560 x 1600? |

28" at 1920 x 1200
EDIT: Would 2 x 275's been sufficient? Edited by Avidity - 24 May 2009 at 6:29pm |
