help with first config - new

Expectations:
The computer will be mainly focusing on data mining/machine learning, occasionally will do VR gaming. I will max use 2 video cards for recent years unless I will do lots of medical image deep learning in the future, which I do not see in 2-3 years. I prefer the system have a higher upgrade possibilities, which means I do not need to buy lots of new things in order to upgrade it. The main OS will be Ubuntu and I prefer to install windows 10 using VM later. The machine is mainly for working and occasionally for fun.

Would you mind help me on if there is anything improper, whether it needs upgrade or downgrade. Thanks a lot !
