That case does not have great airflow.
but if you want to stick with that case then Ticket Number: 1486539 get your monitor elsewhere you can get a better price for it. Edited by DST4ME - 08 Sep 2016 at 8:49pm |

thank you for the reply - I really appreciate it
so what other case should I go for? Not married to the original case in case there is a better decision in your build you changed the following to confirm? -increased RAM to 16GB -changed cooling system + case management -overclocked CPU to 4.4 -removed display |

My pleasure
Yes those are the changes but I just notice the ssd and hdd changes didn't take. change the 850 to 950 since it much much faster. change hdd to western digital black edition for reliability and performance Ticket Number: 1486607 My recommendation however would be: Click Image To Go To Configuration Page Bit of info: 1. Do not install Mcafee , instead get a lighter better anti virus like ESET ( number 3 on the list ) Or any other good light Anti Virus will do. 2. With extra fans request that DS changes all case fans and connects all your fans to the mobo so you can control them via free software. This way we can control the fans without needing anything else (aka fan controller and etc). Also be sure to pick the color of the ring you wan the fans to have (red/blu/white). 3. The warranty here is 3 year labor and 1 year parts so if you want higher part warranty be sure to raise the warranty level to the desired level. if budget allows you may want to go 1070 gtx depending on what games you play. we can do this cheaper in vanquish, I'm just not crazy about some of the parts so its not my cup of tea, but if you like I can help you with that and the price will be lower. |

When I'm getting a one year warranty from builder I like to know what parts I'm getting and what models they are so I can check the reviews and warranty and etc. With vanquish I don't care for the cpu cooler at all, and would like to know what mobo I'm getting, I like a bigger better psu.
But don't get me wrong if I was on very tight budget I would get one but then I would have to spend more money and get the longest warranty I can for it. |

Gotcha. Also, which do you think performs better, Noctua or Hydrolux Lite? |

Liquid always has a better heat exchange rate then air.
But you don't look at it like that, no matter what you use you want to be within a safe range, once in that safe range it does not really matter what you use to be there, what matters is that you stay there. Both noctua and hydro lite will keep us in that safe range with stage 1 oc easily. Think of it as crossing a river, the boat you use is not that big of a deal as long as its a boat that will get you to the other side, now you can go in a canoe or you can go in a big nice speed boat, but either way you are both gonna endup on the other side. Bottom line is that you want to be under 80c with oc under full load, if you are at say 75c with air and 70c on hydro lite for example there will be no difference to your cpu life span. All of the above is for a regular user, now if things change like use of the pc instead of gaming and etc being benchmarking and such then you need lc for that kind of stuff and good one, like the pro. Thanks for the help. Last 2 questions:
1. Would you happen to know if the Lite has leaking problems? I know that LC always has a chance of a leak, but i don't want to go with a product where the leaks are common. 2. Is Lite something that you would recommend for a build. Appreciate the help. |

1. Its very difficult to say with pc parts, one can be great bu the next not so much. I have not seen many leak issues with hydro lite on their own(as in shipping not involved)
2. Yes I would. My pleasure Edited by DST4ME - 19 Sep 2016 at 11:43am |
