Hello all from Misawa AB, Japan.
I need some help with my Configuration, I'm not too literate with computers or building them for that matter. I prefer Fans than the Liquid cooling.
I'll be using 90% of it for gaming, and 10% for just watching Anime. The games I want to play on it are StarCraft 2, WoW, EVE Online, Fallout 3 & New Vegas, and Shogun 2.

Opinions are much appreciated.

My Budget is $2000 Max.

Is 2000$ max for the computer+shipping? Or is it max just for the computer, and you can afford 130$ to ship to APO, AP. I'm also stationed at Misawa AB, and 130$ is what it cost to ship it.

Couple of things wrong with this build.

The "Chassis Mods: HailStorm & 950Si: Processor & Video Card Area: Drill and Mount Two Side Window 120mm Fan Blow-Holes" is meant for the Hailstorm case, as you have chosen the Coolermaster 690. The tempature display is not accurate.. you're better off download CPU-Z, as this displays more accurate temps. Overclocked video cards are nice, but also at a price of the lifespan. IMO you would be better off sticking with stock clock'd cards, at your resolution you wont notice the difference. I'm not sure if noise is a huge factor, but most noise comes from your GPU at max loads.

You could go with this build, only based off the games you're playing 1 570 will push WoW, and EVE at max with no problems.. You insisted you wanted air cooling instead of liquid, the 942 has some of the best air flow you can get. It has 1 front 230mm fan, top 200mm, side 200mm, rear 140mm. If you can afford about 40$ (25$ special order fee +20$ for fan) you can ask Digital Storm to order/install another top 200mm fan for maximum airflow. You can opt to add a card later down the road once you save up some more money. Adding these cards are pretty simple, you just plug the 2nd card into the PCI slot, and add the bridge connector. But if you want SLI now, we can change a few things. Also, down the road you would really benefit alot with an SSD as your operating system / games / apps drive. The Intel 320 120gb is a solid reliable drive.

Now if you can up your budget about 300$ more you could get this. This saves the headache of adding an SSD and reinstalling / cloning your Operating System.

Also for the best deal out atm, you should look into the ODE stage 2. The CPU is cooled with a generic liquid cooler, but has little less performance/almost-the-sam, than the stage 2 air cooled. Comes with an SSD for fast loading in games, and 2 560's.

Ok thanks for the help, I'll most likely go with your second Config. but will need to wait for payday on the 15th this month to be above that price, $2000 max was for the computer. The suggestion about adding another top 200mm fan, that would help as well for the second Config I'm guessing? And yea the noise isn't a problem for me.

Ya, adding another 200mm fan to the top will give you alot of airflow. And being at Misawa, it is always cold.. unless you're in the towers/dorms, so your tempatures should be very very good.

ticket numnber 564670 is not loading with the haf x for some reason, so make sure the case is haf x and

Ask DS specifically for this fan to be added to the top, so you endup with 4 x 200mm fans:

haf 200mm non led fan

I do like to point out that adding a ssd is very easy and no headache and cloning is super easy and no hassle.
