He's referring to the Dell UltraSharp 27", which is 2560x1440 resolution, which would needx2 SLI 580's to max out BF3 but remember there are games still more demanding so it depends on what you want to play. Also, the new Nvidia GPUs are supposed to be a significant increase in terms of power with double the amount of processing cores compared to the 500 series cards.

The 600 series should be out in a couple of months depending on what your schedule is for buying your new system. x2 580SLI will max out most games on that monitor, waiting for the new 600 series or going x3 SLI will all depend on your desire to do more.

jmaster... I see that you have the GTX570 2.5gb.. how do you like it?  I am going to be going with that in my new rig this month.. not gonna wait for the new GPU's right now... Chilling

2.5GB is not really needed for most things. I got it just to try and help with things like Physx that are not important to a lot of people. I have not actually tested it yet as I am still waiting for DS to get it and ship it to me. I just changed my sig a bit early.

After I get it and try Arkham City with the Physx turned on I'll let you know.

only a $50 difference between 1.2gb and 2.5gb so not a big deal to me personally. .. but sounds good Awesome
