In my pc i have a sapphire HD 4870 1gb and at times it can run kinda hot.  I was thinkin of liquid cooling it but have no experience with liquid cooling.  Any idea for cooling blocks etc.  I have looked at a few but i dont know if they are compatible with mine. I don't really want to spent more than $200 if possible(don't really know how much liquid cooling costs).  If any of you could help me out i would appreciate it.

Here's a link to some info on my gpu

you gonna need to spend more then $200, the rad is gonna run you about $60 bucks, the pump is gonna cost about $80 bucks, the water block is gonna cost you about $130, thats not counting, shipping, hose, etc etc.

not worth it if you ask me, what is the temps under load anyways? is the fan set to run at 100% ?

Most temp issues ive seen in forums (other places then DS also) they have everything set to auto.

Set it to manual in the ATI controller, (in the Overdrive part) then set fan speed at 100%. Also remember that it will clock up automatically when under load if you set it to do that.  If I set mine to auto it waits till about 75C before it starts to really blow the heat out.

So like DST said, check to see the temps when you run it at 100%. Even when I have WoW and WAR up at the same time I don't see much over 60C, 80C is the worry zone for me. (Tho I have an room that is AC'd to 50F so that makes a huge temp difference).

Not to mention that if you were going to LC the GPU you need to know how to take off the Heatsink.
