I did look at the monitor post at the top but then noticed it was from 2008..
So I need help (again.) I have a Epoch level 1 default setup (i5 and a 660 ti) arriving on Friday (unless fedex slows down.) What I need: A monitor for gaming. Fps are my norm but I do enjoy Rts, Rpg and I'm looking into Forge (Think thats the one. Spell's an all crazy stuff. Looks great!) I've been reading around and it seems I want something with 120hz (for smoothness) However, I've noticed a lot of them sacrifice picture quality. Granted in a Fps battle, I don't care if everything is true to life, picture perfect. My mind is on shooting them first. But is there a good middle ground monitor? Low input lag, 120hz with medium to high picture quality? I'm looking to spend under 400. I've been considering just ordering the Benq Xl2420t but I've read the picture quality isn't that great. In advance any suggestions / advice is most appreciated! Thank you. |

I care more about picture quality then I do speed, I wanna enjoy the game and since we look at the game I assume the big part of that is the quality of what you are looking at.
To get good picture quality you gonna need a quality panel and that will cost more then $400. I'm not even sure if you can get that in 120hz yet. But thats just me. |
