I'm having trouble upon start up getting my monitor to display. I have to unplug the DVI connector on the back of the video card and plug back in a couple of times before the monitor will display my desktop. I'm using the DVI to HDMI adaptor that came with the graphics card
I have a HPw2408h monitor and GTX 280 graphics card. Also when I hook the monitor up to my laptop the monitor works fine.
Is there anything I need to do to the video card to get the monitor to work properly?
Please Help!

I have a HDMI cabel going into a DVI adaptor that connects to the DVI port on the GTX 280 video card. The other end of the HDMI cabel plugs directly into the monitor. |
