hey guys.. im looking to buy a new laptop but im new to the whole custom build thing so I would really appreciate some help. I have a budget of $1800-$2000. Any suggestions on 15" configs?? would love to be able to run 3D modelling software as smoothly as possible as well as game every now and again. thanks in advance!

I'm no expert, but if you are running 3D modeling programs that have the ability to take advantage of Hyper Threading I would choose a i7 build. Plus with your budget you will be able to get a above average to great machine from the prices I have seen here.
