Hey DS Community I'm looking for some advice and help on my new computer.
Budget: Ideally $2500, but I can probably swing up to $2800. Use: I will be using this computer for general home computing as well as gaming and video editing. The main games I play are World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Civ5 and in the future I would like to be able to handle SW:TOR and BF3. I expect this computer to be a great machine for a few years. Special Needs: I have keyboard, mouse, and speakers but I need some advice on what monitor to purchase with a budget of $200. Only thing I would change about your build is that I would go with one gpu, then if I see I need a second I would add that in, for the games you mentioned, a single 570 should do, bf3 I'm not sure about.
change your psu to corsair. drop the os and gpu boost. 1. the 320 has the best controller so yes that is the one to get now. 2. I pretty much covered this at the begining of this post. 3. if you go with one gpu like I said you can save some money. 4. in short, deluxe is the way to go. for monitor I would go with this, its on sale alot for $250: Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23 |

Thank you for your feedback DST4ME, you seem to be a staple of the Digital Storm forums. I will definitely use your advice and I'm going to ask DSO for the extra fan that you always recommend with HAF X.
Also a note to DSO: The main reason I've decided to go with this company is because the wonderful community I found here and all of the happy customers. |
