I bought that other 8800 ultra to replace my broken one to be back in SLI.
 
However, I am having second thoughts.  I am going to get a new DS rig in 5-6 months and I don't think my 8800 ultras in SLI will be able to tide me over until then (yes I need all eye candy).
 
Will two GTX 275's give me a significant improvement in performance in my current build as it is?  I have received money from the IRS, so money is NOT an issue so let's leave the money aspect out of it Embarrassed

2 x 275 will be better for sure however I'm not sure how they will be on your pci 1.0.

I have been told by people in other forums that there isn't much of a difference.  I don't know, though, since I haven't seen any actual benchmarks.

well if they both give you over 60 fps you won't see the difference but there is a big difference, depends on the game I guess.

or are you talking about the pci-e not being much of a difference?

well I have seen it not make much of a difference maybe like 3 fps with a 260 gtx but not sure if it makes much of a difference with a 275.

I will sit on it for a bit... but might just have these SLI ultras try to hold me over.
