Hey man, we have the same MOBO in our Lumos. I noticed it has a 2nd M.2 slot.

Is it a simple twist of a screw and boot the computer and a new M.2 drive will be active? I'm curious if I have to adjust BIOS settings?

Last question, do you know what type of screw is needed. DS didn't include the extra screw for the 2nd slot.

Thanks, man, looking to upgrade.

I am not sure what MoBo you have, but I just got a Lumos with the ASUS ROG Strix Z390-H Gaming MoBo and I put a second M2 SSD in with no problems. I just took the screw out, put the SSD in and put the screw back in. Powered up and the SSD was there with no problem. I may have had to format it, but I don't think I did.

the screw was very small and was in the standoff on the MoBo.

Any idea what type of screw I need? I can't find an extra in my accessories box.

Lol....Well I can tell you the screw is not already there screwed in on the second port M.2 riser of my ASUS Strix H mobo.   I would bet a standard size M.2 mount screw will likely be included with whatever M.2 Drive you buy, but the mobo specs don’t list what size it is.

OK Pink....From Toms Hardware I found a post that the standard M.2 mount screw size is 2.0 x 3 mm.....( CM2x3-3.3 )

Amazon has M.2 screw sets...search M.2 SSD Mounting Screws Kit for Asus Motherboards....

Just a note, my SSD did not come with a mounting screw.

I figured as much, I found a set of screws on Amazon for $6. I'm going to assume they are the correct size =)
