It's fun to contemplate and order a new computer.Excited  I just received a razzoo new Bolt 3 with a 6700 CPU. and the new 1080Ti video card, hydrolux cooling.  A new 4K 32" monitor.  Overall a nice setup.

BUT!!! I have to say, I REALLY miss the old "easy transfer" of W7!!  What a pain to set up.  Getting links and programs loaded, INFINITELY many pass word recoveries, which leads to having to change pass words on 2 other computers, iPads, phones, etc,etc,etc...UpsetUpsetUpset  Then you have connecting it to the LAN, trying to access the NAS and trying to find ANYTHING you want -- and you KNOW it's there SOMEWHERE.  It just goes on and on.

Looking forward to receiving the Intel and NVidia bundles --- someday??? But that will lead to more pass words and installation challenges for this old man.

SO, Hopefully the "bug" for a new computer will not strike again.Big%20Smile

Thanks,  I did email them and got the codes.  BUT!!!! setting them up is harder than the games.  Register here, register there, passwords up the gazooo.  Then one won't work so a contact to Intel and maybe they will respond in a day or so,  then register 2 different places for NVidia and MAYBE it will link up in an hour or so -- maybe.  he time I figure all this out, I will be REALLY OVER the desire to play a game.

Thanks again, though.

This is the issue with vendor codes. The codes come from Nvidea and Intel, Digital Storm just passes them along and really have no control over them.

Thanks Snaike, I know that and that's why I didn't contact DS about the codes.  But the one I did get working and actually downloaded a game took MANY tries.Just frustrating and don't know yet if the game works, we'll see.

I went top drawer and whole hog on this system so with any luck, I'll NEVER have to do this again, and MAY even get it all set up during the rest of my lifetime.
