I always felt if the potential company you want to buy from is difficult to reach when you haven't yet given them any money, what would be their motivation to support after you already paid.
I spent a few weeks convincing myself I need a new machine ( honestly, I don't), but anyway. So i looked at ******, dig/storm, *******. My last 2 were ****. they worked fine, cost about 3 k each. ****** seems a little higher., dig storm 's site looks nice. So I spec'd out a 4400$ slade model , and filled out the ask a question form, on saturday. I looked for a response on sunday, but really didn't expect a response.
I eagerly opened my email. monday, expecting to begin the conversation leading to my new and glorious machine, but there was nothing.Hmm.
So maybe this morning ...
nope.
I did the chat thing on one of my many site visits, Guy was nice, couldn't answer my question, ( I certainly don't expect him to know everything about all your models) He said he'd get back to me.

I don't know why, other than busy or maybe all the fires out there.

I very nice guy contacted me within a day or two and we began our discussion over many emails. Give them a little bit longer as there has to be a very good reason for the silence.

Digital Storm is closed weekends.. and IIRC most of their office staff is still working off-site due to current conditions. Alex ([email protected]) Nav ([email protected]) and Stellar ([email protected]) stop by these forums when they can but mostly it is us users trying to help one another.

I'm certain if you have specific questions any or all of the folks listed above would be able to assist.

The reason most of these people are on these forums years after their purchases is because Digital Storm is one of the best, if not ~the~ best, at building repeat customers. Customer service is a very high priority. Just my 2ΒΆ...

Ya, i didn't expect any responses on sunday. I have been communicating with the chat guy, most of my questions have been answered

Actually, they weren't email, rather the web site based "ask a question".

Certainly a reasonable suggestion. But, no, no reply in spam. Maybe the ask a question from the web site goes to a dead email,, or perhaps someone on vacation.

I am currently waiting on my 4th system from DS. I have learned through my past purchases that patience is a virtue. I've gone three weeks without hearing anything,but i know this is all part of the build process.

Being unable to order because I don't know about certain items is not a test of my patience.
If they didn't want to use the form to field questions from prospective customers, they should remove it.
Yes, i can call, but I was trying to be "patient"
