How does the air get in the pc if it has tempered glass in the front size where the intake fans are? Also does anybody know a good pc case under 100 dollars that is a mid sized case?

If you're talking about the Lumos, it has filtered spaces between the panels all the way around.

There are dozens of perfectly suitable cases that fit your criteria. Just go shopping and read the reviews.

There are air intakes designed into the case. Some are more free flow than others.
Like Cretae stated, there are way more mid size cases under $100. than you think. You have to have in mind what you intend to do and how important some things are, like air v liquid cooling, size of the various hardware and how they fit together, etc.
