It has diff parts. It has a CPU Block for the water to cool CPU, it gets its water from the resovoir which sends to the water to a pump which pushes it to a radiator and the radiator sends it to all the places it cools.

I think all of the information provided here pretty much sums it. Its basically just the transfering of heat, from cold objects, to warm objects. And as mentioned in that very nice how stuff works guide by david, its much like a cooling system on a car, or a harley in your case I would assume.
