How has Outward done?

   So a while back the game Outward got a lot of reception for being sort of an old school open world RPG game. On its release the general consensus was that, while rough around the edges, it was overall a solid game with an option of co-op. How are people feeling about the game now that some time has passed. Are there any plans for them to add future content? I've recently found that I've been enjoying RPGs like Divinity Original Sin and Kingmaker.

I want to get it, but I've seen that it suffered from some really frustrating bugs and performance drops, especially in regards to co-op. If the co-op is having issues, then it could be a deal breaker for me.
