How High Elevated Should I Keep My Computer

This is not a Digital Storm computer, but I would like to know how high i should put it up. It is a HP pavilion HPE with a quad core 2.80GHZ i5, AMD 6450 >.>, 9gb of ram. I have one dog.

At least a couple of feet.    Desktop level is usual.   Just to keep the dust and pet hair that swirls around the floor away from the intakes.    Plus the dogs and cats will usually leave it alone there.

Kitchen tables too.      Especially with tall drinks nearby.
