Resolution: 1900 by 1200 games: GTA 4, Crysis, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, really just most of the popular games. can you change it to make it a 6000 budget and to max these games out if possible? Thanks |

Here ya go.
What I changed: For liquid cooling you're best off to go with HailStorm That being said spending 750$ on LC is a waste if you don't over clock your video cards, they're just fine with stock cooling in 2 way SLI. Not 100% sure on this but I'm fairly sure that the monitor you picked doesn't support 1920x1200 resolution. I changed your PSU to the Corsair 1k PSU, it has won a fair amount of awards and is a very solid PSU, 1200 watts is unnecessary for 2x SLI. The max draw on a video card is ~300 watts. Added in a 256GB SSD for your OS / Games. No 5k build is complete without a SSD. Other thoughts... Just IMO you should really really consider going with an ATI video card if you're going to order now. If you can wait I would hold out a few more months for the new NVIDIA cards ticket number: 376139 - $5324 Chassis Model: Digital Storm HailStorm (Black OPS Edition) Exterior Finish: - Standard Factory Finish Trim Accents: - Standard Factory Finish Processor: Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz (Quad Core) Motherboard: EVGA X58 Classified 3X SLI (Intel X58 Chipset) (Supports Triple SLI or CrossFire) System Memory: 6GB DDR3 1600MHz Digital Storm Certified Performance Series (Highly Recommended) (Hand Tested) Power Supply: 1000W Corsair (Dual/Triple/Quad SLI Compatible) Expansion Bay: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 1: Operating System: 1x (256GB Solid State (By: Corsair) (Model: CMFSSD-256GBG2D) Set 1 Raid Options: - No Thanks Hard Drive Set 2: Multimedia\Data: 1x (1TB Seagate/Hitachi/Western Digital (7200 RPM) (32MB Cache) (SATA) (Extreme Speed) Hard Drive Set 3: Backup\Misc.: - No Thanks Optical Drive 1: DVD±R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 22x / CD-Writer 48x) Optical Drive 2: - No Thanks Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections) Video Card: 2x SLI Dual (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 1GB) (Includes PhysX Technology) Add-on Card: - No Thanks Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio Extreme Cooling: H20: Stage 6: Sub-Zero LCS Dual Loop: CPU & Dual SLI/CrossFire Video Cards H20 Tube Color:Black Tubing with High-Performance Fluid (UV Lighting Reactive) Chassis Airflow: Standard Factory Chassis Fans Internal Lighting: Internal Chassis Lighting System (UV) (Creates Glowing Effect for H20 Tubes) Enhancements: - No Thanks Chassis Mods: - No Thanks Noise Reduction: - No Thanks Boost Processor: Stage 2: Overclock the processor between 4.0GHz to 4.2GHz (Requires H20 Cooling Upgrade) Boost Video Card: Yes, Overclock the video card(s) as much as possible with complete stability Boost Memory: - No Thanks, Please do not overclock my memory Boost OS: - No Thanks, Please do not tweak the services on the operating system Windows OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit Edition) Restore Kit: Digital Storm Specialized Recovery System (DVD Image Based) Virus Protection: - No Thanks Office: - No Thanks Benchmarking: - No Thanks Install/Test Game: - No Thanks Display: - No Thanks Surge Shield: - No Thanks Speakers: - No Thanks Keyboard: - No Thanks Mouse: - No Thanks External Storage: - No Thanks Exclusive T-Shirt: - No Thanks Priority Build: - No Thanks, Ship Within 5-10 Business Days After Order Is Successfully Processed Warranty: 3 Year Platinum Care Extended Parts & Labor Warranty Edited by Herniter - 21 Jan 2010 at 8:05pm |

1920x1080p =16:9
1920x1200 =16:10 In the past year or so, panel manufacturers have offered 23 inch models instead of 24 to make them more user friendly with tv/home theater/gaming applications(i.e. 1080p) |
