How long does each stage take?

Anyone know how long each stage will take? I’m on stage 1 right now and I have a feeling it will take a while.

It really depends on what you ordered, the season you place you order in, availability of parts and who knows what else. They usually stick to the estimated time. Note it does not include weekends or holidays.

Here is the stage times on mine from a few months ago. I caused a few days delay by changing my order from a RTX 3070 to a RTX 3080. I am glad I did because I ended up with a EVGA FTW3 ULTRA RTX3080 that is blazing fast!!!

No update today for me and currently 15 days. With me being so impatient, i now sit here regretting not orderdering the priority build

Mine is taking a literal etern1ty. But that's ok - it's an EPIC rig and I'm so stoked. I want it to come to me in nothing but perfection.

Stage 1: Initial Order Date - 11/30/2021
Stage 2: Inventory Assigned - 12/8/2021
Stage 3: Pending Assembly - 12/21/2021
Stage 4: Assembly Started - 12/23/2021
Stage 5: Stress Testing & Benchmarking - 1/26/2022

Can blame the DDR5 RAM shortage for these delays.

Original estimate was “end of December” but the DDR5 is what held up the whole thing. This rig ain’t your usual rig either though so I’m sure they are Extra caring for it lol. $7500 build.

Yeah it’s nuts and I can’t believe I splurged this much for it lol. My current rig is still a really decent one but I’m holding on to it for my daughters Roblox and Fortnite habit. Congrats on getting your new rig so quickly!

I spoke with them today and it looks like my Aventum X is also running late meanwhile they have my money and I guess I'm stuck for better or worse. I'm obviously a little upset they can't follow a lead time and that that seems to be a recurring theme. In my opinion they should be able to get an estimate on when something is going to ship even with current supply chain issues based on their current inventory. They shouldn't be saying 21-28 days if there are possible variables that aren't included in the estimate.

I'm with you on always wanting an all liquid cooled rig and the only wanted the Aventum X out of all the system options out there but the wait is frustrating and I differ from you in one aspect because I feel like lead times should consider unforeseen delays to some extent. Especially when you're spending 10+ on just a tower.

UPDATE! My rig has reached Stage 6.

I imagine it will be shipping out fairly soon. STOKED!

nice…. 2+ month wait is brutal

There a lot of us Digital Storm customers that have been in your shoes. Some of us several times as repeat customers. To me the wait wasn't as bad as the fear that the shipping gods would be cruel. Thankfully in both shipments of my systems they arrived perfect.

Waiting is a "B", yesterday I spent 8 hours trying to get my new cheap mobile phones activated after they deactivated my old ones. I felt like I was going crazy but good booze and old age allowed me to stay with it till they were fixed. It was bad timing since I did this with a 12 inch snow storm headed into St. Louis.

Your systems will come before you know it and with a little luck they will fire up and be perfect out of the box. This is when it important to take a few pictures and share them with the folks that are still waiting for theirs.

Knowing that the systems are really being delivered everyday to happy customers helps a wait that seems like forever. Notification of a change in expected ship dates feels like a Christmas that got delayed and you were waiting under the tree and your precious gift ain't there!
