How many monitors ?

Like suppose I have aventum 3 with 4x sli quad Titan x and I also have Asus X99 mother board. I want to know how many monitors can be used for 4k resolution or 2k resolution. I want Asus 32 inch UHD monitors only. What's the largest size I can buy for multiple monitors (on 4k or 2k). Help?

Whether its a single card or quad sli, you can run 3 monitors in surround and 4 monitors total, the 4th for other stuff.  Even though a single card can run them all, a card per 4k is much better for gaming.  Or at least a 3x sli, the 4th contributing a lot less than the first 3. 

They can all be 4k.  All 2k will run faster but 4k will work.    The size of the screen doesn't matter, just the resolution itself.  Its the resolution that the cards need to render.

I think they'll run, but can't say to what degree.   3 way and especially 4 way sli hasn't been shown from my experience to be worth it for most.  The scaling isn't there to get the benefit. 

Running 4x 4k monitors is pretty challenging.

So what's the best resolution I can get with 4 monitors ? I think I'll limit myself to the reality ;)

IMHO, for decent gaming, triple 1440p would be a real good balance for a tri-sli Titan X.    You can only game on 3 monitors, so the 4th I'm not sure if its for the web, etc.

I also wouldn't install a 4th  Titan X.   Try the tri sli.   The 4th is a lot of money for little gain.   

I'm going by benches and reliable testing sites.  No experience myself, unfortunately.  Big%20Smile
