I used to think my system was a real beast until I started frequenting these forums. How much does the typical person here spend on a new system? It seems like it must be a good US$2500+ if they're using core i7s and multiple GPUs.

As long as your rig does what you want it to and you are happy with it's performance (no bsods, crashes, etc.) then don't worry about the scores and such...unless you are like us and want the bleeding edge!!!!  Big%20smile  Already looking into the i7 and beyond!!

I've built my own for 6 years but decided this time to go with DS for their amazing warranty and service.

I usually upgrade once in 5-6 years, if my system cannot be upgraded anymore.. (switching to better GPU cards/more ram etc) Recent switch to i7 should last me a while.

Its been a constant 7k-8k.
