I seem to have lost the document I always make in Word listing all my PC specs, as ordered from DS. Can anyone tell me how to access my approximately 4 year-old order (my fourth PC in a row from DS) so that I can remake this doc? I like to have my specs to hand. Many thanks.

Do you have the binder that came with your purchase? There's a list in there of all your parts as they are listed in the Configurator. If not, you can always ask DS for the info.

If you don't have the binder I'd just follow what Cretae suggested and ask DS.

That said, two other options. If you still have the email account you used and you didn't delete the emails, just search for "Digital Storm" in your email and the original order invoice should be there (mine was from 9 years ago but then again I rarely delete email, lol). Absent that, if you have your order number you might check the "My Account" area. Digital Storm at least used to have the original invoice posted in there. Both my orders are now so ancient that I can no longer access mine, but I am 100% positive it used to be in there as that's where I got my PDFs from.

It's also possible to just get all the spec information yourself from your computer, but that would be much more tedious than just having DS send you the invoice, at least I think. Big%20Smile

Very useful suggestions, guys, thank you. I must say, I really appreciate this community; DS is lucky to have such a great group of "regulars" on the forums. I think I recognise both of your handles from when I bought my first DS rig in around 2009! I have bought four PCs from DS since then. Having access to this community plays a large role in my loyalty to DS so I think that DS, as well as I, owe you a big thank you.

Update: I am going to get this info from the physical folder. It's the easiest way. I was just curious re. whether a record of the build would be available via DS/My Account but it is not: even after accessing the original order number, the DS Customer Order Management System only contains various bits of advisory information and links and final shipping status. Interestingly, none of the order processing emails provide a link to the build either.

@Tidgxor: I also looked in My Account and the invoice is no longer there! Only generic info.

Interesting. I'd be curious to see what age DS "drops off" old invoices or if they just don't store them anymore? The My Account page still says "Print a sales receipt" so I'm inclined to believe it's still there if only for a set time.

Hmmm, Just rechecked mine and it doesn't have that. Under Status, it states that it is in final inspection!  Maybe I'm getting Snaike's Green Monster. Smile

Oh, no hijack perceived here but thanks anyway. As I said, I recognise most of your forum names from many useful interactions here over the years and I am happy to find you all again. No doubt I will be leaning on your superior knowledge yet again when I order my fifth (or maybe fourth, I’ve lost count!) PC from DS in a year or two.
