Could someone explain how to compare graffix cards. Is a gtx 450 better than a gtx 440? Is a HD 6870 better than a HD6770? What should I look for in comparing. Some are like 10 dollars more and some are 100's more, for one series jump. Is there a chart that compares averages or something?
Thank to all

Its not that easy, which is better depends on the user's needs, and that should depend on the user's res/games/game's & aa settings.
In short, which gpu is better to play say metro at 1900 x 1200 and 4x aa is totally different than which is better to play cod4 at 1600 x 1200 with 4x aa. So what is your res and what kinda games you play? highest settings in the game is what we assume here, but aa settings is up to you. we are assuming you got a system that theoretically can handle a 6970/580, otherwise you choices become limited by what your system can handle also.
