I don't remember my exact specs, not sure if that's really needed for this but I do remember getting a lynx level 2. I'm just wondering how I turn off the rgb lighting inside the case? Sometimes I let my computer run overnight and the lights are very bright.

Depends on the motherboard. If it’s an Asus, download their latest motherboard software, such as Armoury Crate , go into Aura section and control what you want.   

Basically, the LEDs need your motherboard software to control various functions. Your motherboard manual should help.
