Welcome to the forum Digitroni.

The Ryzen 9 and MSI mobo combination will do well with video editing.

Your choice of the TN level MSI monitor could be better.   Think for video editing color quality and a better match gaming with NVidia GPU’s you would be much better off finding a G-Sync equipped IPS color quality 1440P monitor elsewhere...loads of them on sale all over.    Find candidates from the NVidia tested & approved G-Sync monitor list here:

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs

Then refocus on some improvements to the build to strengthen its performance details.

1). Go Corsair Vengeance 32 GB RGB RAM for better warranty (+$11)

2). Drive1...upgrade to faster Samsung Evo 970 Pro 500 GB M.2
     NVME (+$66)
You had a basic DS SATA III SSD...M.2 NVME SSD is 5X faster.

3) Upgrade the entry level GTX video card... better for 2K/ 1440P
gaming and video performance would be the midrange NVidia RTX
2070 Super 8 GB (+$337) or entry level RTX 2060 Super 8 GB
     (+$183).

4). In Lumos the stock fans are plain DS black budget fans with no
lights.   The Corsair LL fans are quiet and high performance with
RGB lighting and can be synced with other Corsair RGB
     components. Better 2 yr warranty.

5). Free DS RGB case lights with remote control.

Without the monitor...Best 2070 Super GPU choice at your budget...
Lumos build 2. Config # 2715990. $3085 Minus $300 off = $2785

with the monitor...improved 2060 Super GPU
Lumos build 3. Config # 2715995. $3370 Minus $300 off = $3070

See what you think.....
