Ill be brief. Its located on COM3 but the v1.9 and v1.7 wont connect. I tried COM1 - 4 just to be make sure. I believe the issue is a windows update over-rode the settings and set the parity and bit rate to the default as i cannot think of any other reason it wouldnt connect. What is the default settings of the COM port when coming from the factory? This way i can check to ensure they match. Other than that i dont know why it cant see the HL board. On the scale of issues this is very small so i am not concerned at the moment. THank you for any input.

Call DS  to report the problem. They can fix you up. 
I was never able to work with mine. Every time I opened it the pc crashed!
