My rig I believe is about just shy of 3 years old. All of the sudden I turned it on and saw the coolant reservoir drop dramatically and saw water coming out on 3-4 tubes and after more inspection even more leaks under the reservoir pump area above the fans/radiators.

When I was on the phone with support we took two of the hard lines off and with more inspection we can see that they were not cut flush. What I find weird is that it failed at 4 different locations that i can see at the same time. Is that normal?

I have some different tubes coming that DS recommended but now I really worry if all of the things need to be taken apart and looked at professionally. It is of course out of warranty but for things like this to fail all at once is very odd to me.

Let me know if anyone has seen this and what I should do.

With Kindness
Jonathan

Sorry you are having this issue. One of the dangers of open coolant loops. I had 3 different fittings on mine quit at once so...

No need to touch the ones not leaking but you will be looking for leaks for a while. Make sure the o-rings are replaced and do not over tighten.

The coolant is not water. Make sure you refill using the same one. Some do not mix and can cause severe damage.

I have a lingering issue with my flexible Hydrolux Lines having terrible O-Rings that degrade and eventually start leaking coolant over my PSU. Do you happen to know which brand Digital Storm is using for their hose fittings/connections so I can avoid that company like the plague?

I'm on my second fitting in less than a year and I can count the droplets that leak out of line dribbling onto my PSU's casing.

Rather than them just sending me another POS fitting, I'd prefer to know the correct size of the Hydrolux Hoses/O-Rings so I can buy a new fitting myself from a better company.

To the OP, sorry for temporarily hijacking your thread.

@bmm52584: I had to change most of my fittings also. I use Bitspower, Koolance... anything with a brand name should be ok. Stay away from generics.

My soft hose was 3/8"id but here are different sizes. Call DS and they should be able to tell you. Good luck. It is frustrating.
