Those of us who had been waitlisted for the new SB problem are just starting to finally see our PCs enter build.  Which means to me that the supply of the revised MoBo's is coming in, so I dont see you having a problem on that front.

What graphic card did you choose? AMD HD 6990 was just out and ibp is assembling the system with it.

Well if he is smart he didn't choose the 6990 there is 2 ways to waste your money:

DST4ME- You are all over these forums,from what you have seen do you think it is wise to buy now,or wait a little while longer?

hell maybe I can even have a DS rep butt in here..I dont want to fork over all this money and then have to wait a month and a half to get my pc..Thats just dumb...

I have a bad feeling that ifspring has wasted his money on ibp and 6990.

@ davis, save you r money and go with 570, at 1900 x 1200 you are not gonna be able to tell the difference between 570 and 580.

from what I have seen, looks like they are begining to role them out, but to be sure how long it would take, you have to ask DS directly.

We just added the 6990 now. We do have Sandy Bridge B3 support chips coming in daily now.

@DST4ME- I'm running for now 1920X1080..I look at it this way..When a more demanding game comes out,which I know a few that are coming out..I will have the GPU power I need to not have huge frame drops and a little room to grow..

@Alex- I assume that means it shouldn't take more than 15 days to build and ship a system? (Since the new chips are in)...Thats what I get out of it,but I really have no idea what you are talking about lolScared...Not a real techy person..

@Davis, again even wiht more demanding games, in sli, you won't be able to tell the difference, and you can always oc the 570 to get around the same performance.

but if you like the 580 and want to throw money at it, go ahead
