Hello DS and DS boards. I'm a long time lurker and I have become more confused than anything on these boards. That is the price you pay for knowledge I suppose.

I'm ready to buy a gaming computer from DS and would like some help on what I really need. I get confused with SATA/Raid/CF or not to CF, OC with LCooling or just a solid air control. My head hurts.

I know there was a template to fill in about computer builds but I couldnt' find it.

My budget: 1500 max
Games: Shooters and RPG's
Quad 3.5 MINIMUM
4/8/12 gigs. DDR2/3/I have no idea
No monitor
No speakers
Do I need a fancy sound card?
One big hard drive is enough
Blue Ray and DVD RW-R
*Room for upgradeability in the future

I'd like fast load times
Low chop if any in frame rates

Games: City of heroes/villains, CoD Modern Warfare 2

what resolution will you be gaming at? can you extend your budget a bit more?
