Alot of these builds Use 1050TI as a basic, default graphics card, why is that? I'm new to computer builds and I would honestly like to make changes to the LUMOS that I currently have them building for me, however, no one is picking up the phones... So I figured that I'd just leave the message here. Also I am financing my lumos, Is it possible to change the graphics card, or change my build to the ultimate how do I do that?

Like you said, the 1050Ti is just the default to get you started. They have to put something in there and that card is a base level to start.
You can make changes to your order but need to talk to them or email : management @digitalstorm.com. They’re not open weekends. If it’s built beyond a certain point they might charge extra for changes because they have to undo some of the work. Need to talk to them. |

When you go to one of their models, there's usually a few different builds (for those who would rather be told what's better) and I think it's easier to start by going to the cheapest and changing out the different components with the drop-downs. Sounds like you just started with the base rather than clicking on the most expensive pre-config one ... wise.
Just know that if a certain item is not compatible with your config, it will not allow you to add it. Then once they have all of the items you chose installed, they do run stress tests. Just because something fits and is compatible doesn't mean it's the wisest choice, and that's why they do that - to make sure that once it's fully built, that it actually works as well. So if a problem arises then, they'll let you know. As for financing, you can still upgrade, but it won't affect your loan. They'll simply want you to pay the difference. |

Ill put it to you lkke this, i have a 4 uear old digital storm laptop.
Nvidia gtx 970M i7-4810MQ processors 120GB SSD (THIS IS WAY TO SMALL, GAMES TAKE 50-70GB LOL) This set up can play the majority of games on high settings. Some games on ULTRA....so your 1050ti will definitely give you faming experience. NOTE: rendering and streaming at the same time requires a way better build than what you purchased. |

I like how the higher tiers (better, best, etc) used to also upgrade the video card which to me makes more sense. I honestly think the way the 1050ti in the high level PCs is a bit misleading, especially in pricing.
