Hi,
An AIO (as they are commonly called) are closed cooling loops with attached pumps and usually only cool the cpu. Primarily maintenance free until they stop cooling then you change the whole AIO if the pump dies. Fans can be changed. An open custom loop allows you the option to add other parts into the cooling loop. They require more maintenance and have more parts to cause you issues. Hope this helps. Big%20Smile

AIO is another name for the Corsair H 115i as an example.
