The 7th was a friday, so yours probably hit Stage 1 by Tuesday of the next week.... I am technically only 3 days behind you.... |

I got my stage 1 update on Saturday but I assume they didn't start anything until Tues, so you're probably right

Wow.. the 7th, and still at Stage 1? There really are bad delays at DS.
My order was processed yesterday - hope I get it before the holidays ![]() Chris Edited by thecomplex - 21 Sep 2007 at 1:13pm |

It'll happen. My jonsing is going to the next level, but I'm sure it will happen. But since Bioshock has been out, I got World in Conflict, awesome fun online if you haven't played it by the way.
I just hope my DS system won't impload from the furious game loading I will be subjecting it too once it arrives.

UGM84, I can attest that wouldn't happen as though our name starts with a 'D' it doesn't end in LL nor does it have an 'E' in the middle ;)
All joking aside, your system is going to rock, roll, and avalanche over any games coming out.

My machine was in Stage 1 for two weeks. I believe it was because DSO got it fully assembled with Windows installed and then concluded that the motherboard was flaky and had to rip it apart to put in a new board.
Some other companies might not have noticed the MOBO problems and shipped the machine sooner, but I wouldn't be happy now. The computer has only been on for 24 hours, but so far it's flawless.

I wonder... Is the 72 hour period automated? Meaning you have some scripts that run all the benchmarks etc...?

No, because we need to carefully document every test. On our testing sheets, any technician that starts a certain test (memory, cpu, or video) signs the sheet and indicates the date and time he starts it. Another technician at a later date will come in and check the progress of the machine and sign it off and write Pass or Fail.
Bontchimuz, thanks! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Edited by Alex - 25 Sep 2007 at 2:01am |
