For lack of a better forum (and out of desperation) I am trying this one.
Anyways, I'm trying to buy a computer. And I'm being given an unexpected hard time trying to give someone my money.
After confirming the order all it says is somewhat along the lines of "because this is an international order, there is no paypal (nor other options like credit card). We will send you the details to transfer your payment." ...which is a first for me but dunno, maybe there has been some payment issues with international paypal guidelines in the past. They will know better than I do. A few seconds after the order confirmation this automated email arrives: ---------------------------------------------------------- Important Order Information - [order nr] Notice: Since you are placing an international order with us, our team will need to review your order and shipping details and add additional import/custom duty and taxes. Please wait until we contact you with a final total before you submit your payment to us. ---------------------------------------------------------- This is all I got, the whole mail. So I waited because it was black friday and I assumed they are under heavy load. The next email comes 2 weeks after that, this time is quality control asking me why I cancelled my order. I use "MyAccount" and see this: Order Status: Order canceled due to No payment made My contact attempts where email only so far (answered the management auto-email but figured I would need whoever controls order/payments so I tried the "request help" form. So far no answer from neither of those. The spam folder was checked religiously since the order and I highly doubt the company doesn't want my money. So guys, am I in your spam folder? Or is the system bugged right now?
If the worldwide shortage of computer parts causes the order process to mess up, I don't mind waiting a few months. But I wouldn't want to miss out the sale because it covers the exorbitant shipping expenses. Edited by Obake - 21 Dec 2020 at 3:25am |
