Im%20with%20StupidLast time I upgraded my computer, I did it right before all the new games hit, and right before all the new hardware hit... fml... I did it again lol. I should have waited until the new hardware and games hit, because now everyone's dropping new equipment and I've blown my budget for the next couple years.

Ok, general marketing to consumers, you've won this round...

There's always new stuff coming out. We can never win. We just have to get the best of what's currently out and use it up until we have the $$ to buy some more new stuff!

I'm the same way.  I could have waited a few months and had 770's instead of 670's, but if you continue to wait for the next big thing, you never have a new computer.

You can also throw your gear on forums and sell it to help fill the budget for new hardware.  If the part is brand new, you can usually return it for a refund or store credit ;)

What did you recently upgrade that you wish you wouldn't have?  Your video card?

I bought the system as an upgrade to my old computer in May. And as always I didn't look at upcoming hardware releases. Shortly after I purchased my system Nvidia dropped their 700 series gpus and intel dropped their haswell cpus. I'm VERY happy with my system. Like most though, I want the newest and fastest :D

I hear ya brother. That's my downfall myself.  The motherboard and cpu, you're out of luck lol, but video cards are easy. You can throw your 600 series on OCN or hardforums... or even ebay and make some money back towards a new 700 or 800 series at least. It's a simple upgrade (unless you're on liquid haha).

Don't forget the new R9 AMD series.
