Its been awhile since i have been on here so its good to be back.  I love my new computer, i wish it wasn't so loud but what can you do.  I can live with it.  My question is that i purchased a wireless mouse and keyboard and have been playing COD WAW and am starting to notice that the game is glitchy.  When i am the gun at someone it sometimes takes a little time to get there and then fire.

I am wondering if its the mouse thats doing that or the graphics cards (2-275's) having a hard time catching up.  I usually have the lowest ping since the hub is in Chicago so i don't think its the connection.  It doesn't do it all the time either.  It didn't do this when i first started playing a month ago.  Any help would be great!

Thanks guys and girls!

if your mouse didn't do it before then its not your mouse, as long as the batteries are sharp.

Well the batteries are charged up almost every night when the computer shuts down so i don't think its that.  Is it possible that the graphics card drivers need updating?  I went on Nvidia's website and there is an update for the cards i have but how often are you supposed to do that?

The worst thing you can do is game wirelessly.  It's always been known that there will be some lag in wireless equipment when gaming.  HM is correct in his observations, RF frequencis are affected in so many ways and are never a reliable source when gaming.  If you want to assure yourself a quality kill ratio ingame, then you really need to hardwire your keyboard and mouse.

I have been an avid gamer for many years and I can say this with confidence that it is not your GPU or computer causing the issue.  I've been through many wireless products and gone back and forth testing this and wireless just isn't good for gaming... period.  Keep in mind too though, you may very well have a great ping on the server, but if you have a couple of high pingers there with you, then even a low pinger will be affected to some degree.  My advice to the server host would be to set the server to kick high pingers.  I wouldn't allow anyone with a ping over 100 on my servers.

guys he has been using his wireless just fine he is having this issue at a certain point of the game, this tells us that its not his RF signal, otherwise it would happen sporadically and not at specific points, specific points, point to some thing else, I believe its the server he is connected to.

I agree with DST.
If it was your wireless
mouse and keyboard.
Letting them die completely
and then charging then completely.
And seeing if it made any diffrence
would be your best bet. I highly doubt
its your mouse/keyboard though.

Check your connections/wires
Uninstall then re-install components.

I am starting to think that its the server that i play on and the fact that i had my cell phone close to the mouse because now that i moved the cell phone its better.  Its not a major thing i was just wondering why it was happening.

What about updating the drivers for the graphics cards?  How often should you do that?

I always had my cell phone on the computer desk.  I was using it for a clock at the time.  Since i don't use it anymore its been better.  Its not nearly as bad as it was.

If it was there the whole time and it was not happening before then its weired how it would cause it now. but wait and see, if its the server then it could be good now but it will go bad again later.

hopefully it won't.

funny thing is that my cell is always next to my wireless mouse and I never have lags.
