Right when I got my computer I checked to see if everything was seated right.  I hooked it up and it worked perfectly.  This is one hell of a computer.   One thing was I changed my green light to the red, but when I got it, it was the green light.  They are shipping me the red light, this green light is very ugly on the Ultra case lol.    Everything is pretty much perfect.  I mean, it works right out of the box and everything.  I also like the fact that I got both XP and Vista 64bit installed on here.

So of course I went and got Crysis, my friend has the game and it ran choppy as hell on his computer.  His computer is ALMOST the same as mine.  I am running this game on second to the highest settings and I am getting about 50-60 FPS on this thing, HOW THE HELL IS THAT?  My friend was getting like 20 - 30FPS it was constantly jumping around like it was possessed.  The Fatal1ty soundcard is EXCELLENT if you play the guitar,  I have "SEQUEL" installed on my computer for recording, loops, mixing, equalizers, etc etc.  Fantastic sound card if you can use it's options.  If you can't use all the options on this card I recommend you to not get the card because your missing out on those extra perks which make the Fatal1ty worth it's price.

Great job on building my computer,  It was MORE then I expected.  If you decide to get a computer with 2 GTX's or GREATER I highly suggest a 24" monitor, this 24" Samsung is F@#$in KILLER!  (SyncMaster 245BW)

By the way, on Crysis...I was running in the resolution of 1920x1200 on those high settings and it was working fantastic.  My computer just slaughters COD4.

I will post pics of it When I get the red light, because this green light is horrid on this case.

Thumbs%20Up The light is on the way. Originally your order was ordered with green. Making changes can be very tricky later down the stage. Anyways, the red is on the way, and you can keep the green. Perhaps mix them to create the Holiday's colors.

hehe, yea I could do that, I dunno though.  You must see this green light in the ultra case and tell me what you think of it.   I have seen green lights in other cases and they look pretty damn nice.

I am still drooling over that damn Fatal1ty soundcard.  I must thank kelly for recommending me this card because I use all of it's features.  For what this card does and uses...for example:  Midi in/out, guitar port/bass port, A headphone guitar port incase you don't want to use your speakers.  pretty much you can use Microphone, guitar, base, Keyboard, headphones, pretty much anything.   For what this card does, it's not an expensive sound card, this thing is worth more then what it is lol.

don't worry about it, I think there might have been something acting up in his computer.

I don't fully understand how the 2 OS's on one machine work? Do you select either XP or Vista before every bootup and (how) can you change it if your computer is already running?

Also I got the Fatal1ty sound card but dont have a guitar..yet. Maybe that will be my next Christmas gift, lol. If I do get one though.. is it hard to figure out how to work all the goodies with this card or is it pretty cut and dry? I've never heard of "sequel" but i'll have to check it out, sounds nice..

Wow congrats Bigdog - I really like how the blue light looked in mine.

I downloaded the Crysis SP demo and was surprised when it ran perfectly smooth as well. From some of the posts in the FPS forum I had expected to not be able to play it too well, but my framerates were pretty high and the game seemed even smoother than the raw frames would suggest anyway... It wouldn't let me switch to 1280x1024 though so I had to play at 1024x780..

Game seemed allright though. COD4 demo was awesome. I'll probably pick that up as soon as I save up some cash.

Glad you like your computer - post some pics!

Cr8ton,  you also need to purchase some software if you wanted to record anything on the guitar, base, keyboard etc etc.   I myself purchased "SEQUEL"  very good software and you can do just wonders with it.

I agree with Bigdog about the Samsung 24" monitor.  I'm currently using it, and it looks great with only 1 GTX...Getting myself a 2nd one as my Christmas present.  Also playing Crysis, COD4, BF2142, and UTIII on native res and highest settings.  Running smooth as a top.  Thx again DS!  I'll post some pics soon.  You'll be able to see the very impressive looking Fatal1ty soundcard.  Love it everytime someone new comes over and finally understands what all the fuss is about concerning my beautY!

I use the same monitor and it is a very nice monitor.  Although, I've run Crysis on default settings, very high, and 1920x1200 res., no AA and it isn't completely smooth.  The demo plays well enough at these settings to get through it and awe over the graphics, but the game play is by far smooth.

COD4 and the other games, no problem.  Love COD4 on the new rig.
