Budget:
Under $5000 Usage: Gaming (Crisis 2, BF3, MW3, Skyrim, and more) and rendering videos in Sony Vegas Pro 11 I want it to last a while, 300GB or more storage. My monitor is a 27 inch with a highest resolution 1920x1080. Will dual graphics card be more powerful on one monitor than running one alone? |

LC is a luxury and at your budget I assume you want some luxury, its not needed at all and temps and etc will be great on air, but I have to ask so we are all on the same page, would you like lc? if yes on cpu only or both cpu and gpu? (keep in mind if something goes wrong you need to work in the lc loop, otherwise its a month of being without your pc and shipping fees if want DS to do the work).

Hi Astrotechnics,
I checked Sony Vegas Pro 11 and the user reviews are not very good. A lot of problems and disappointment. You might want to stick with Pro 10 until Sony gets things sorted out. Or maybe they have by now. Anyway the recommended hardware is not very high with 2Gb multi-core processor. Do you have some operating experience with Sony Vegas Pro? What equipment are you currently using? I see Sony suggest a 4xx GTX but recommend a Quadro for Professionals so it must need some big guns in a graphics card. I am just trying to get a feel for what you need. Frank Edited by FrankW - 22 Jan 2012 at 9:27am |

I now have AAE. I'll just be recording with Fraps some gameplay and put them into AAE and render them in it. |

First half of your config, I was like "yes he got it" but then from the hdd choice it started going down hill on some stuff
, this cost less and is a better system for your money:

Now this has ssd, 1TB BC for storage, sli 570, all the good stuff. Now if you want this case to have led fans then we dont' go with the fan upgrade, they are smaller 120mm louder fans vs the case's own quiet 200mm fans, and all fans on the case will not get replaced. if you want to have led fans, best way is to replace your 200mm fans with led 200mm fans. Now I noticed you picked blue fans and blue lights, but the case comes with a front 230mm red led fan, which will not get replaced leaving you with 2 colors, is that what you want or do you want all blue?
