1. My price cap is 3500
2. I want a solid state drive, bluray, and high res screen. 3. I will use this computer to play world of warcraft, watch blurays, and complete normal college task such as word processing (But I don't want microsoft office because I will by it on campus when I move.) 4. I would just really like to have my computer able to play warcraft at the highest setting with a pretty good frame rate at all times (45-60 frames is good right?) and have a little bit of wiggle room on the hard drive (But I don't need an enormous one by any means. I'm going to by an external drive to keep my music, word documents, and etc.) Thanks so much! Chaney |

not sure if it interests you, or that it would even really apply since wow is super low on the hardware demand list
but for that price, you could get a sick (real) gaming computer and have WAY more than enough room left for a very light and thin laptop for school use
laptops simply cant compare to the gaming power of desktops.. and while ive never spent much time looking at gaming laptops, as the idea itself is a little silly to me, i would imagine that a gaming competent laptops could not be as small thin and light as one specifically for school/work purposes, as it would require far less power to still be fast and productive for its tasks

I ventured down the Laptop/Desktop replacement road once, I was never really happy with it. I found that It worked better for me to use a Desktop REAL gaming rig for games and a very light notebook (and now a Netbook) for doing stuff on the move.

Here is what I would recommend. It has everything you are looking for, as well as the ability to upgrade in the future should you want/need.
$2655 - http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=450785 |
