I think i screwed up. Help please!

Well i think i shot myself in the foot with this one.  I had Itunes on my computer and i was in the process of loading all my cd's onto Itunes when i noticed that it was going on my main HD instead of my back up.  So this morning i thought i would just drag the files over to the back up drive and now i can't get my itunes to load up the music.  Itunes comes up but there is no music in the library.  Its on the HD but how do i get it to play from that HD.  I had about 3500 songs on there and i was half way done.  What do i do???  Can i go back?

you changed the file path for your music. need to erase all of the music out of itunes than run a search. it will readd all of the songs with the correct file path. than you should be good to go

Well i got frustrated so i erased everything.  Uninstalled Itunes, down loaded it again and starting over.  Thanks for the help M.O.  How do i get the computer to put the files on the other HD right from the start?

edit - preference - advance than change your itunes music folder location to the hard drive of your choice
