Then I realized what game am I ever going to play that will require this amount of power? You guys know of any besides Crysis.......... lol

All future games will require this amount of power, thus DirectX11 has came out. A new generation of graphics and design.

FYI:

Crysis 2 With Direct X11 is coming out sometime beginning of Next year.

well then yes, whoever wants to play games at highest settings with aa and af at their resolutions of 1600 x 1200, 1900 x 1200, 2560 x 1600, need to have the power otherwise it won't be smooth gaming.

Just look at the games from 5 years ago and now. Alot of newer games REQUIRE at least a dual core.
There will ALWAYS be room for upgrades.
