Shall we also forget the fact that it is a generation old at this point... and that ATI currently holds the crown pending some miraculous driver update from nVidia that solves the woes of the 200 series cards.
Mind you I would not mind the CUDA update in their mainstream non-beta driver section as the current 177.xx driver that has CUDA support makes a mess of the 9800GTX which has CUDA hardware support. Need the driver bling, but I think once nVidia gets off their lazy  performance especially in PhysX enabled games will be great.Dave |

I have had 0 issues with my SLI 9800GTX from Zotac so far... they are performing like a charm. **crossed fingers, toes, eyes arms, legs and anything else that crosses.**
As far as I can see so far my computer seems to be built well and performing as expected, so I am a happy camper so far :) Dave |

I spoke with Duke, and it looks like the system is shipping today. It's sent to QA. The imaging process, etc, took quite a good amount of time.

I'm glad to see that your system went to QA and is ready to go Harley! Maybe if we share any common games in interest we can game together and get some mileage out of that bad boy. Just try not to tackle the delivery guy when he arrives with your system. I know how anxious you will be. =)

I also play Civ 4 so that is a possibility as well I think for multiplayer... I have considered several times getting TF:2 but I am not a huge shooter fan, I just absolutely loved the sequences on the game demos Dave |

Bah! It's not dead! It's just very tired...  I wish I were in the market for a graphics card, but I don't control my purse-strings.  Besides, I need a memory upgrade... and so does my pc! Ummm, yeah. I'm prolly forever gonna be using budget parts anyway! Scots like to go cheap and mom sez I don't need that! S'yeah, I'd have to be a pro gamer to justify buying the good stuff! heheh |
