With turbo active the stock clocks @ 2.8Ghz on  all 4 cores, 2.9Ghz on sinlge core, if motherboard is setup to achieve the 22 multi. Ouch

turbo is stock. turbo on a 920 is a multi of 21, and that is all four cores, 22 multi is just for one core.

justing per intel stock speed is stock speed = 2.66GHz

turbo is not stock speed,:

Intel® Turbo Boost Technology is one of the many exciting new features that Intel has built into latest-generation Intel® microarchitecture (codenamed Nehalem). It automatically allows processor cores to run faster than the base operating frequency if it's operating below power, current, and temperature specification limits.

I understand what you are saying but stock speed is speed without modification of any kind.

if turbo is stock then what is the stock speed of 920 officially?

Turbo has changed in most all motherboard bios. On most, now you can turn turbo off, and still lock in the 21 multi. So, if you go into the bios, load optimizied defaults, you will see in Cpuz 133 Bclock and 21 multi = 2.8 Ghz on the 920. My Xeon 3540 will be here Thursday, hopefully will be able to lock 23 multi 100% of the time. Clap
