I could not be happier with my new rig!  I mostly play WoW, and i'm used to playing on a 7yr old system getting 5-10fps at best.  So you can only imagine how crazy it is to now be playing at a constant 60fps, all settings maxed.  I can't wait to get into some other games too now.  I placed my order on 2/23, and it shipped on 2/27... very fast.  Fedex even delivered quickly, for having to come all the way to NJ, and through our snowstorm the day of and before delivery.  Excellent packaging.  And wow, you can't appreciate how menacing the HAF932 is until you see it in person!  Booted right up no problems.  Only had one small issue, concerning the ds tester 'charles' putting his own name into the system instead of mine, meaning all the registry values recognize and tag his name to all items on the comp.  Guess he tested, then changed to my name at the end as admin... i guess just let him know that will only change the display name... not what all files are associated with.  You can read all about it in my config post, but with DST's help we were able to fix it without reinstalling the OS.  Was just annoying, but i guess it's one of the lesser of all potential problems you could have lol.  But yea, everything is smooth sailing over here, again i cannot believe how awesome this rig is.  I am extremely happy with DS, would order again, and would recommend to anyone.  Might have some sales coming your way from guild members heh, i've been linking everyone this website who asks about my new system.  One thing i would recommend is getting the 6gb of ram vs the 3.  I'm glad i did, even without gaming vista is eating up around 2.25gb of ram at all times it seems.  And like everyone also recommends, get a 1000w psu so you are future-ready for many years to come!  Lastly, thanks to everyone who helped me on the way, but especially DST, i said it in another thread but i'll say it again, you truly go out of your way to make sure people are spending their money here in the best way possible.  One other thing i want to say... when i first came to this site i was figuring "oh well, anything would be an upgrade from what i'm currently playing on.  I'll build a core2duo and keep it around $1500".  If anyone reading this is thinking the same thing, please read through my thread in the config discussion forum, it accurately shows the realization of how much more sense it makes to go with an i7 system in my opinion.  Save up an extra $500 bucks... and you won't have to upgrade a damn thing for a looong time to come.

Here's some pics, i'll take some better pics at night when it's glowing... the green lighting is killer

This is one of the best reviews that I have read!  The pictures are great.  You did an excellent job with your review!  These honest reviews are what make the Digital Storm buying experience real for a lot of people that are just now discovering our forum.

Good Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heh thanks, i came across it on a messageboard, but i found a link for it here: http://bobwama.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/july-25-08.jpg

then i use Rocketdock on the bottom to keep everything neat and no icons on the desktop, along with Rainmeter to track some things, both are really easy to use and lets you create a much more custom appearance!

Bummer.  Rocketdock doesn't support 64-bit Windows (XP or Vista).

I'm actually using Rocketdock on my Vists 64-bit system now and I'm not having any problems.  It's not a true 64-bit app, but it works w/o problems so far...  although I'll admit that I have only been using it for just a few days.

Hmmm, Rocketdock says it's not for 64-bit, but can't hurt to give it a try.  Thanks.

Hey Ken, GREAT review!! And GREAT system!  I missed when you posted this, somehow.

I like that you have a purple wall behind a green lit computer. Cool combination. It makes me think you own the "Joker's" (from Batman) computer system. Smile

So, with that big stack of speakers, I'm guessing you must play an instrument?

Rocketdock apparently works in Vista x64as that is the OS on his new system.

It may not be optimized for it, but it seems to work based on screenshots

That's awesome that you got your system so fast. I ordered mine about a month ago, and I'm still waiting.
