The rig im using now has a Q9550. The rig i have on order is going to have the i7-2600k. What type of performance gains should i see? |

In what? the 2600K is around 10 to 20% better then the i7 9xx, so you can imagine it gonna be more then that with q9550.

Because of different coding in different app, you will see 5% gains clock for clock in some apps, and over 100% gains clock for clock in others.. It really depends on the specific coding of the specific app. |
